Applications
PMC INOX pumps by iQ PRO are used where the medium must come into contact exclusively with stainless steel and where resistance to solid contaminants up to 18 mm in diameter is required. They are suitable for industrial washing systems and dishwashers, suspension transfer in food processing, process water systems, and dyeing and industrial laundry facilities. They are also used to transfer paint liquids and moderately aggressive liquids in agriculture, as well as for irrigation and drainage.
The PMC INOX series also serves public utility facilities, including swimming pools, cooling systems, water treatment systems, and demineralization and desalination installations. The pump can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position, making it easier to adapt to existing installation infrastructure. PMC INOX 230V features – description and technical data
The PMC INOX series pumps are based on a single-stage centrifugal design with an open impeller, allowing them to handle liquids containing fine solid contaminants without the risk of clogging the hydraulic system. The asynchronous squirrel-cage motor, housed in an enclosed aluminum casing, drives the shaft, casing, impeller, and intermediate wall, all made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the mechanical seal is made of graphite, silicon carbide, and NBR. This combination of materials provides corrosion resistance and compliance with the hygienic requirements for equipment operating in contact with food and pharmaceutical products.
In the 230V version, the series includes three models that differ in motor power and hydraulic performance – PMC 1100 INOX (1.1 kW), PMC 1500 INOX (1.5 kW), and PMC 2200 INOX (2.2 kW). The discharge and suction connections are G2 on the PMC 1100 INOX and PMC 1500 INOX models, and G2½ on the PMC 2200 INOX model, making it easier to select the appropriate installation fittings.
