A cover used to hermetically close the casing pipe of a deep well through which the pressure pipe is inserted. The head ensures tight closing of the well thanks to the gasket that clamps on the casing pipe. By tightly closing the well, the well is protected against the entry of pollutants and surface water.
The heads are available in 3 construction versions:
- Plastic pass-through,
- Made of galvanized steel, straight through,
- Made of galvanized steel with external thread.
All heads are equipped with a metal eye that can be used to hang the pump, and the cable gland ensures tight routing of the power cable. Different sizes of connection threads allow you to connect pipes of different diameters. Depending on the design, heads are available dedicated to casing pipes from 110 mm to 160 mm, i.e. for 4" and 6" wells.
The head is equipped with:
- Connection hydraulic (seal) to connect the pipe pumping water from the pump,
- Cable gland enabling connection and routing of the power cable through the head,
- Metal eye for attaching a rope to hang the pump,
- External thread or passage crimped with a seal,
- A seal used to clamp the discharge and well pipes.
