The heart of the unit is a permanent-magnet motor that uses over 30% less energy than a conventional motor of the same power, while operating exceptionally quietly – typically at 25–40 dB, and below 55 dB at full power. Soft starting eliminates water hammer, extending the service life of the pump and installation. The low weight (approx. 10 kg) allows one person to carry and install the unit.
Operation is simple: just use the buttons to set the operating pressure anywhere from 1.5 to 5.5 bar, and the pump will maintain it automatically. Safety is ensured by an extensive range of protections: protection against dry running (without additional probes or sensors in the well), overload, excessively high and low pressure and voltage, as well as protection against freezing and water that is too hot. When the pump remains connected but unused, the controller briefly starts it once a day to prevent the hydraulic components from seizing.
