Applications

Thanks to the motor cooling jacket, the pump does not need to be fully submerged and does not require a casing pipe, which conventional multistage pumps need. The built-in float switches the pump off when the water level is low, protecting it against dry running.
The pump works with a pressure tank, creating a household pressurized water system. It pumps clean or slightly sandy water with a sand content of up to 0.25 kg/m³. The NEPTUN 230 V submersible pump with a float is suitable for everyday water supply on allotments and in households.
Features of the NEPTUN submersible pump
NEPTUN consists of multistage submersible pumps with a float, designed for ring wells. A key design element is the motor cooling jacket, which allows the pump to operate without being fully submerged and without a casing pipe. The float automatically switches the pump off when the water level is too low, protecting the motor against dry running.
The motor has built-in thermal protection and a capacitor, so the pump does not require an external starting box and is ready for installation immediately after unpacking. The housing, shaft, and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the impeller and diffuser are made of PPO polymer. The mechanical seal is made in a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration.
