MWQ 80/3000 – submersible pump with agitator
IBO MWQ series submersible pumps with a built-in agitator are a series of professional devices designed for users looking for a durable and reliable product for professional applications. The agitator mixes and breaks up dense sediment accumulating at the bottom of the tank, making it easier to pump and reducing the risk of clogging the installation.
Who is it for?
-
Municipal facilities and sewage pumping stations – the agitator breaks up dense sediment before pumping, making it easier to work in tanks with large amounts of bottom sediment.
-
Companies implementing large installations – availability in 230 V and 400 V versions, depending on the model, makes it easier to match the pump to the existing electrical installation.
-
Farms – the pump is suitable for pumping dense sewage from septic tanks and agricultural reservoirs.
-
Installation companies building permanent pumping stations – the option of installing the pump with a coupling foot makes it easier to integrate it with a guide-rail system.
Application
The MWQ series of submersible pumps with an agitator is designed for pumping sewage from septic tanks in domestic and agricultural settings, as well as for draining flooded rooms, houses, and garages. The pumps are also used for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, supplying garden ponds, and operating in stormwater pumping stations.
The built-in agitator mixes and breaks up dense sediment accumulating at the bottom of the tank, making it easier to pump and reducing the risk of clogging the installation. The devices operate in a vertical position, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of up to 35°C.
Features of the MWQ series
MWQ series pumps feature a motor housing and impeller housing made of gray cast iron. The impeller and shaft are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the agitator is made of gray cast iron. NSK bearings ensure stable operation under the high loads typical of professional applications.
A double mechanical seal in a SiC/graphite/NBR configuration protects the motor from water, while thermal protection built into the winding prevents overheating. The pumps do not have a built-in float switch – control is provided by external equipment selected separately for the installation. The option of installing the pump with a coupling foot makes it easier to integrate it with a guide-rail system in permanent installations.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – MWQ submersible pump with agitator
What is the agitator in MWQ series pumps used for?
The agitator is a mixing system mounted on the pump shaft that breaks up dense sediment accumulating at the bottom of the tank before it is sucked in, making it easier to pump sewage with a high sediment content.
How can the MWQ pump be protected against dry running?
The pump does not have a built-in switch, so dry-run protection must be provided using external control equipment selected for the specific installation.
How does the MWQ pump differ from standard sewage pumps, such as the WQF series?
MWQ pumps are equipped with an agitator that breaks up dense sediment before pumping, a feature not found in standard sewage pumps such as the WQF series. This makes the MWQ suitable for tanks with large amounts of bottom sediment, such as agricultural septic tanks or stormwater pumping stations.
How do I choose the right MWQ pump model for my needs?
The choice of model depends on the required head and flow rate, as well as the available power supply – the series includes variants from 1100 W to 7500 W, available in 230 V or 400 V versions depending on the model. If you have any doubts, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can I buy an MWQ submersible pump with an agitator?
Dambat does not sell directly. MWQ series pumps are available from sales partners, plumbing wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
What warranty terms apply to the MWQ pump?
IBO – 24-month (2-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
