MHI 2500 – multi-stage self-suction hydrophore pump 230 V
MHI by IBO are multi-stage, self-suction centrifugal pumps with a Venturi tube, designed for pumping clean, cold water from own intakes and for increasing pressure in home, recreational and agricultural installations. Multi-stage hydraulics translate into high working pressure with relatively small dimensions.
For whom
-
Owners of single-family houses with a well – suction capacity of up to 8 m and lifting capacity of 55 to 85 m depending on the model cover the typical requirements of an installation using its own water intake.
-
Farms and irrigation systems – high efficiency (up to 100 l/min) and quiet operation make the MHI series suitable for powering extensive sprinkler systems and drip lines.
-
Installers of hydrophore systems – the pumps work with standard expansion tanks and pressure machines (PC, SK), which shortens the time of completing the installation.
-
Users with insufficient mains pressure – the MHI series is suitable for increasing pressure in installations powered by water.
Application
IBO MHI series pumps are designed for pumping clean, cold water from own intakes and shallow wells and for increasing the pressure in water installations. The suction capacity reaches up to 8 m - as a pump for dug or drilled wells with a shallow water surface, this is one of the main applications of this series.
The devices cooperate with expansion tanks and pressure and flow machines. MHI series pumps operate in a horizontal position with a power supply of 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz. Quiet operation makes them a practical choice for installation inside residential buildings.
Features of the MHI series by IBO - description and technical data
Multistage centrifugal pumps with a suction system based on a Venturi tube. Pump housing and shaft made of AISI 304 stainless steel, impeller made of PPO polymer, suction body and console made of cast iron, mechanical stuffing box made of ceramics, graphite and NBR. Thermal protection built into the motor winding.
The series includes three models differing in power and lifting height: MHI 1300 (1.3 kW, lifting 55 m, capacity 100 l/min), MHI 1800 (1.8 kW, lifting 80 m, capacity 100 l/min), MHI 2500 (2.5 kW, lifting 85 m, capacity 100 l/min). All models have the same suction capacity and Connection – they differ in engine power and lifting height.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – MHI series hydrophore pump by IBO
Which pump for a shallow well - MHI 1300, 1800 or 2500?
All three models have the same suction capacity (up to 8 m) and efficiency (100 l/min) - they differ in lifting height. MHI 1300 (55 m) is sufficient for a typical single-family house, MHI 1800 (80 m) is suitable for longer installation sections or several floors, MHI 2500 (85 m) is the choice for very complex installations or significant pressure demand. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact with the Dambat technical department.
Is the MHI garden pump suitable for watering the plot from your own intake?
Yes - capacity up to 100 l/min and high working pressure make the MHI series successfully power sprinklers and drip lines connected to a well or rainwater tank. MHI 1300 is sufficient for a typical home garden, larger models will be suitable for extensive irrigation systems on allotments and farms.
Is a hydrophore tank needed for the MHI pump?
The pump can operate with only a pressure switch, but an expansion tank is recommended - it limits the frequency of engine starts and stabilizes the pressure in the installation. You will find tanks compatible with the MHI series hereand a full selection of accessories here.
Is the MHI pump covered by the manufacturer's warranty?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
Where can you buy the IBO MHI series pump?
