MHI 1800 – multistage self-priming booster pump 230 V
IBO MHI pumps are multistage, self-priming centrifugal pumps with a Venturi tube, designed for pumping clean, cold water from private water sources and for increasing pressure in domestic, recreational, and agricultural installations. The multistage hydraulics provide high operating pressure despite the relatively compact dimensions.
Who it is for
-
Owners of detached houses with a well – a suction capacity of up to 8 m and a head of 55 to 85 m, depending on the model, meet the typical requirements of installations supplied from a private water source.
-
Farms and irrigation systems – high efficiency (up to 100 l/min) and quiet operation make the MHI series suitable for supplying extensive sprinkler systems and drip lines.
-
Hydrofor system installers – the pumps work with standard diaphragm tanks and pressure controllers (PC, SK), which shortens installation configuration time.
-
Users with insufficient mains water pressure – the MHI series is suitable for increasing pressure in installations supplied from the water mains.
Application
IBO MHI series pumps are designed for pumping clean, cold water from private water sources and shallow wells, as well as for increasing pressure in water installations. The suction capacity reaches up to 8 m – as a pump for a dug or drilled well with a shallow water table, this is one of the main applications of the series.
The devices work with diaphragm tanks as well as pressure and flow controllers. MHI series pumps operate in a horizontal position with a 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz power supply. Their quiet operation makes them a practical choice for installations inside residential buildings.
Features of the IBO MHI series – description and technical data
Multistage centrifugal pumps with a suction system based on a Venturi tube. The pump housing and shaft are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, the impeller is made of PPO polymer, the suction body and bracket are made of cast iron, and the mechanical seal is made of ceramic, graphite, and NBR. Thermal protection is built into the motor winding.
The series includes three models differing in power and head: MHI 1300 (1.3 kW, 55 m head, 100 l/min capacity), MHI 1800 (1.8 kW, 80 m head, 100 l/min capacity), MHI 2500 (2.5 kW, 85 m head, 100 l/min capacity). All models have the same suction capacity and connection – they differ in motor power and head.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – IBO MHI series booster pump
Which pump is best for a shallow well – MHI 1300, 1800, or 2500?
All three models have the same suction capacity (up to 8 m) and capacity (100 l/min) – they differ in head. The MHI 1300 (55 m) is sufficient for a typical detached house, the MHI 1800 (80 m) is suitable for longer installation runs or several floors, while the MHI 2500 (85 m) is the choice for very extensive installations or significant pressure requirements. If you have any doubts, we encourage you to contact Dambat's technical department.
Is the MHI garden pump suitable for watering a plot from a private water source?
Yes – a capacity of up to 100 l/min and high operating pressure mean that the MHI series can successfully supply sprinklers and drip lines connected to a well or rainwater tank. The MHI 1300 is sufficient for a typical home garden, while the larger models are suitable for extensive irrigation systems on allotments and farms.
Is a hydrofor tank required for the MHI pump?
The pump can operate with only a pressure switch; however, a diaphragm tank is recommended – it limits the frequency of motor starts and stabilizes the pressure in the installation. Tanks compatible with the MHI series can be found here, while the complete range of accessories can be found here.
Does the MHI pump come with a manufacturer's warranty?
IBO – 24-month (2-year) manufacturer's warranty. Dambat provides warranty and post-warranty service.
Where can I buy an IBO MHI series pump?
As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly. MHI series pumps are available from our trade partners, plumbing wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
