Application
The FIX CO/CWU 12 diaphragm vessel is designed for closed heating and solar systems, as well as hot and cold potable water systems. It maintains and balances pressure changes resulting from the increase in the volume of water or heating medium during heating. The vessel can operate in systems containing up to 50% glycol.
The tank is installed vertically and works with boilers, heat pumps, solar collectors and domestic water systems. The certified butyl diaphragm separates the water from the air cushion and protects the system against the effects of pressure fluctuations.

The FIX CO/CWU 12 diaphragm vessel is an expansion vessel with a steel body coated with a two-layer epoxy-polyurethane coating. Inside is a non-replaceable, certified butyl diaphragm with high tensile strength and resistance to high temperatures, while the connection is made of stainless steel.
The diaphragm separates the water or heating medium from the compressed air, allowing the vessel to absorb the increase in volume and maintain stable pressure in a closed system. The tanks meet the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU and EN 13831.
