MCI 8-35 – 230V multistage centrifugal pump, non-self-priming
IPRO MCI pumps are multistage, non-self-priming centrifugal pumps with hydraulics made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, designed for applications ranging from domestic installations to continuous operation in smaller industrial systems. The reinforced mechanical seal enables operation with liquids at temperatures of up to 70°C, while the compact, horizontal design facilitates installation in systems with limited space.
Who it is for
-
Households – the MCI 8 pump is suitable for drawing and pumping raw water before treatment, garden irrigation, and increasing pressure in domestic water systems.
-
Installers – the compact design and 1½x1½" connections facilitate installation in small utility rooms and pressure-booster systems.
-
Small service facilities – the pump is used in pressure washers, laundries, and pressure-boosting systems in public utility buildings.
-
Agriculture and horticulture – the high capacity facilitates operation of extensive irrigation and sprinkler systems.
Application
IPRO MCI 8 pumps are designed to supply systems for drawing and pumping raw water in households before treatment, including sprinkler operation and rainwater use. They are also suitable for public utility facilities – for increasing pressure in water pumping systems and in treatment systems. In smaller industrial applications, the pump is used in pressure washers, air-conditioning systems, and for pumping moderately viscous, mildly aggressive liquids. The pump is not a water-treatment device – if the water is to be used for consumption, appropriate treatment and quality control must be provided.
In agriculture, MCI 8 pumps are used for irrigation as well as pumping and dosing fertilizers. The high capacity enables them to operate extensive sprinkler systems while maintaining high head. The MCI 8 industrial pump operates in a single-phase system supplied with 1~230 V.
MCI 8 features – description and technical data
The hydraulics of MCI 8 pumps – the body, shaft, and connections – are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance regardless of the system’s operating conditions. The SiC/SiC/EPDM mechanical seal provides greater wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, resulting in a longer seal service life when operating with demanding media.
The MCI 8 is equipped with discharge and suction connections measuring 1½x1½", facilitating compatibility with standard installation fittings and diaphragm tanks.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – MCI 8 multistage pump
What applications is the MCI 8 pump suitable for?
The IPRO MCI 8 pump is used to supply systems for drawing and pumping raw water and increasing pressure in households before treatment, in public utility facilities, in smaller industrial systems, and in agriculture for irrigation and fertilizer dosing.
Why is the SiC/SiC mechanical seal better than typical solutions?
The SiC/SiC seal configuration (silicon carbide on both sliding surfaces) offers greater hardness and wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, extending the seal’s service life during prolonged pump operation.
Does the MCI 8 pump require additional dry-run protection?
The MCI 8 pump motor has built-in thermal protection; however, additional dry-run protection is recommended in the system, especially when supplying water from a tank or a well with a fluctuating water level.
How do I select the MCI pump capacity for my system’s requirements?
The MCI series offers capacities ranging from 50 to 500 l/min, while the MCI 8 variants provide flow rates of up to 200 l/min. You can estimate your system’s exact water demand using our water demand calculator.
Where can I buy the MCI 8 multistage pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. The MCI 8 pump is available from our commercial partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
Does the IPRO MCI 8 pump come with a manufacturer’s warranty?
IPRO – 36-month (3-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
