MCI 8-30 – 230V multistage, standard-priming centrifugal pump
IPRO MCI pumps are multistage, standard-priming centrifugal pumps with hydraulics made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, designed for applications ranging from domestic installations to continuous operation in smaller industrial systems. The reinforced mechanical seal allows operation with liquids at temperatures of up to 70°C, while the compact, horizontal design facilitates installation in areas with limited space.
Who it is for
-
Households – the MCI 8 pump is suitable for drawing and pumping raw water before treatment, watering gardens, and increasing pressure in domestic water systems.
-
Installers – the compact design and 1½x1½" connections facilitate installation in small technical rooms and pressure-boosting systems.
-
Small commercial facilities – the pump is used in pressure washers, laundries, and pressure-boosting systems in public buildings.
-
Agriculture and horticulture – the high capacity facilitates operation of extensive irrigation and sprinkler systems.
Applications
IPRO MCI 8 pumps are designed to supply raw-water intake and pumping systems in households before water treatment, including sprinkler operation and rainwater use. They are also suitable for public facilities – for increasing pressure in water pumping systems and in treatment systems. In smaller industrial applications, the pump is used in pressure washers, air-conditioning systems, and for pumping moderately viscous liquids with low aggressiveness. The pump is not a water-treatment device – if the water is to be used for consumption, appropriate treatment and quality control must be provided.
In agriculture, MCI 8 pumps are used for irrigation and for pumping and dosing fertilizers. The high capacity allows them to operate extensive sprinkler systems while maintaining high head. The MCI 8 industrial pump operates in a single-phase system powered at 1~230 V.
MCI 8 features – description and technical data
The hydraulics of MCI 8 pumps – the body, shaft, and connections – are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance regardless of the operating conditions of the installation. The SiC/SiC/EPDM mechanical seal provides greater wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, resulting in a longer seal life when operating with demanding media.
The MCI 8 is equipped with 1½x1½" discharge and suction connections, facilitating compatibility with standard installation fittings and diaphragm tanks.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – MCI 8 multistage pump
What applications is the MCI 8 pump suitable for?
The IPRO MCI 8 pump is used to supply raw-water intake and pumping systems and to increase pressure in households before water treatment, in public facilities, in smaller industrial installations, and in agriculture for irrigation and fertilizer dosing.
Why is the SiC/SiC mechanical seal better than typical solutions?
The SiC/SiC seal (silicon carbide on both sliding surfaces) has greater hardness and wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, which extends the seal’s service life during prolonged pump operation.
Does the MCI 8 pump require additional dry-run protection?
The MCI 8 pump motor has built-in thermal protection; however, additional dry-run protection is recommended in the installation, especially when supplying water from a tank or a well with a variable water level.
How do I select the MCI pump capacity for my installation’s requirements?
The MCI series offers capacities ranging from 50 to 500 l/min, while variants in the MCI 8 group provide flow rates of up to 200 l/min. You can estimate the exact water demand for your installation using our water demand calculator.
Where can I buy the MCI 8 multistage pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. The MCI 8 pump is available from our sales partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
Does the IPRO MCI 8 pump come with a manufacturer’s warranty?
IPRO – 36 months (3 years) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
