MCI 16-30 – multistage, non-self-priming 230V centrifugal pump
IPRO MCI pumps are multistage, non-self-priming centrifugal pumps with hydraulics made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, designed for applications ranging from domestic installations to continuous operation in smaller industrial systems. The reinforced mechanical seal allows operation with liquids at temperatures of up to 70°C, while the compact, horizontal design facilitates installation in systems with limited space.
Who is it for?
-
Households – the MCI 16 is suitable for drawing and pumping raw water before treatment, watering gardens, and increasing pressure in domestic water systems.
-
Installers – the compact design and 2x2" connections facilitate installation in small technical rooms and pressure-boosting systems.
-
Small service facilities – the pump is used in pressure washers, laundries, and pressure-boosting systems in public buildings.
-
Agriculture and horticulture – high capacity facilitates the operation of extensive irrigation and sprinkler systems.
Applications
IPRO MCI 16 pumps are designed to supply raw-water intake and pumping systems in households before water treatment, including sprinkler operation and rainwater use. They are also suitable for public facilities, where they increase pressure in water-pumping systems and are used in treatment systems. In smaller industrial applications, the pump is used in pressure washers, air-conditioning systems, and for pumping moderately viscous, mildly aggressive liquids. The pump is not a water-treatment device – if the water is to be used for consumption, appropriate treatment and quality control must be provided.
In agriculture, MCI 16 pumps are used for irrigation and for pumping and dosing fertilizers. Their high capacity enables them to operate extensive sprinkler systems while maintaining high head. The MCI 16 industrial pump operates in a single-phase system supplied with 1~230 V.
MCI 16 features – description and technical data
The hydraulics of the MCI 16 pumps – the body, shaft, and connections – are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance regardless of the installation’s operating conditions. The SiC/SiC/EPDM mechanical seal provides greater wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, resulting in a longer seal service life when operating with demanding media.
The MCI 16 is equipped with 2x2" discharge and suction connections, facilitating compatibility with standard installation fittings and diaphragm tanks.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – MCI 16 multistage pump
What applications is the MCI 16 pump suitable for?
The IPRO MCI 16 pump is used to supply raw-water intake and pumping systems and to increase pressure in households before water treatment, in public facilities, in smaller industrial installations, and in agriculture for irrigation and fertilizer dosing.
Why is the SiC/SiC mechanical seal better than typical solutions?
The SiC/SiC seal configuration, with silicon carbide on both sliding surfaces, offers greater hardness and wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, extending the seal’s service life during prolonged pump operation.
Does the MCI 16 pump require additional dry-run protection?
The MCI 16 pump motor has built-in thermal protection; however, additional dry-run protection is recommended in the installation, especially when supplying water from a tank or a well with a fluctuating water level.
How do I select the MCI pump capacity for my installation’s requirements?
The MCI series offers capacities ranging from 50 to 500 l/min, while variants in the MCI 16 group provide flow rates of up to 450 l/min. You can estimate your installation’s exact water demand using our water demand calculator.
Where can I buy the MCI 16 multistage pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. The MCI 16 pump is available from our sales partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
Is the IPRO MCI 16 pump covered by a manufacturer’s warranty?
IPRO – 36-month (3-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service provided by Dambat.
