Description
MCI 1-3 – multi-stage, normally suction centrifugal pump 230V
MCI brand pumps IPRO are multi-stage, normally suction centrifugal pumps with hydraulics made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, intended for applications ranging from home installations to continuous operation in smaller industrial systems. The reinforced mechanical stuffing box allows operation with liquid temperatures up to 70°C, and the compact, horizontal design facilitates installation in installations with limited space.
For whom
- Households – the MCI 1 pump is suitable for collecting and pumping raw water before its treatment, watering the garden and increasing the pressure in the home water system.
- Installers – compact structure and 1"x1" connections facilitate installation in small technical rooms and hydrophore plants.
- Small service facilities – the pump is used in pressure washers, laundries and pressure boosting installations in public buildings.
- Small-scale agriculture – low efficiency with high lifting facilitates irrigation and operation of sprinklers on plots and farms.
Application
MCI pumps 1 brand IPRO are intended for powering raw water intake and pumping systems in households, before its treatment, including for operating sprinklers and rainwater exploitation. They are also useful in public utility units - when increasing the pressure in water pumping systems and in purification systems. In smaller industrial applications, the pump is used in pressure washers, air conditioning systems and for pumping moderately viscous liquids with low aggressiveness. The pump is not a water treatment device - if water is to be used for food purposes, it must be properly treated and quality controlled.
In agriculture, MCI 1 pumps are used for irrigation, pumping and dosing of fertilizers. Thanks to their small dimensions and high lifting capacity with relatively low efficiency, they are suitable for applications where it is necessary to overcome a significant difference in height or installation resistance with a moderate flow demand. The MCI 1 industrial pump operates in a single-phase system, powered by 1 ~ 230 V.
MCI 1 features – description and technical data
The hydraulics of MCI 1 pumps - body, shaft and connections - are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance regardless of the installation operating conditions. The mechanical stuffing box in the SiC/SiC/EPDM system provides higher wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, which translates into longer seal life when working with a medium with increased requirements.
All series models are equipped with 1"x1" pressure and suction connections, which facilitates cooperation with standard installation fittings and expansion tanks.
- Pump type: multi-stage, normally suction, horizontal, stainless steel hydraulics
- Power supply: 1~230V/50Hz
- Insulation class: F (155)
- Degree of protection: IP55
- Max. temperature of pumped liquid: 70°C
- Max. ambient temperature: 50°C
- Max. system pressure: 8 bar
- Motor thermal protection: yes
- Pressure and suction connections: 1x1"

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – MCI 1 multistage pump
What applications is the MCI 1 pump suitable for?
MCI pump 1 brand IPRO is used to power raw water intake and pumping systems and to increase pressure in households before its treatment, in public utility units, in smaller industrial installations and in agriculture for irrigation and fertilizer dosing.
Why is the SiC/SiC mechanical stuffing box better than typical solutions?
The stuffing box in the SiC/SiC system (silicon carbide on both sliding surfaces) is characterized by higher hardness and wear resistance than typical graphite/silicon carbide combinations, which extends the seal life with longer pump operation.
In what position is the MCI 1 pump mounted?
The MCI 1 pump is intended for installation in a horizontal position, on a stable surface, near an expansion tank or a pressure machine with which it cooperates in a typical hydrophore installation.
What is the difference between the MCI 1-3, MCI 1-4, MCI 1-6 and MCI 1-7 models?
The models differ in the number of hydraulic stages, which translates into maximum lifting and engine power - from the smallest MCI 1-3 to the most powerful MCI 1-7. The choice of model depends on the required pressure in the installation with similar performance. If you have any doubts about selecting the right pump for your installation, we encourage you to: contact with our technical department.
