Features of the KRAKEN 1800 DF pump
The KRAKEN 1800 DF pump features a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel,
so it does not corrode under constant contact with sewage. The pump housing and impeller
are made of grey cast iron, while the cutting knife is made of grey cast iron and AISI 304 stainless steel,
and a shaft made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
In the 230 V version, a float switch automatically controls the pump and serves as
basic protection against dry running; in the 400 V version, control is provided by
external control equipment, selected separately for the installation. Thermal protection
built into the winding protects the motor against overheating.
