Application

The pump is used to pump sewage from home septic tanks and to drain flooded ones
rooms, houses and garages, and is also often used in backyards
sewage pumping stations.
The multi-channel disc grinder reduces the risk of pump blockage to a minimum.
The device operates in a vertical position, with a horizontal outlet, at maximum density
pumped medium up to 1100 kg/m³ and maximum liquid temperature up to 35°C.
Features of the KRAKEN 1800 pump
The KRAKEN 1800 pump is made with a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, thanks to
why it does not corrode in constant contact with sewage. The pump body and impeller are made
made of gray cast iron, cutting knife made of gray cast iron and AISI 304 stainless steel, and shaft made of steel
AISI 304 stainless steel.
In the 230 V version, the float switch automatically controls the pump operation and ensures
basic protection against dry running; in the 400 V version, control is provided
external equipment, selected separately for the installation. Thermal protection
built into the winding protects the motor against overheating.

Disc or screw shredder – which KRAKEN version should you choose?
KRAKEN 1800 with a disc shredder and KRAKEN 1800 DF with a screw shredder differ in the design of the mechanism and the size of the flange (DN40 vs DN50). The choice depends on the individual requirements of the installation - if in doubt, it's worth it contact contact the technical department.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
In the 230 V version, protection is provided by a built-in float switch. In the 400 V version
protection against dry running is provided by external, selected control equipment
for installation.
Will the KRAKEN 1800 pump work in my installation?
The pump will work well in installations requiring installation to a DN40 flange
resistance to occasional contact with solid waste in sewage. When in doubt
