Applications
The KRAKEN 1800 submersible pump is designed for pumping raw sewage,
fecal matter and dirty water that does not contain abrasive particles such as sand.
The pump is designed for pumping sewage from domestic septic tanks and draining flooded
premises, houses and garages, and is also frequently used in domestic
sewage pumping stations.
The multichannel disc grinder minimizes the risk of pump blockage.
The unit operates in a vertical position, with a horizontal outlet, at a maximum density of the
pumped medium up to 1100 kg/m³ and a maximum liquid temperature of 35°C.
KRAKEN 1800 pump features
The KRAKEN 1800 pump features a motor housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which means
which prevents it from corroding during constant contact with sewage. The pump body and impeller are made
made of grey cast iron, the cutting knife of grey cast iron and AISI 304 stainless steel, while the shaft is made of
stainless steel.
In the 230 V version, a float switch automatically controls pump operation and provides
basic protection against dry running; in the 400 V version, control is provided by
external control equipment, selected separately for the installation. Thermal protection
built into the winding protects the motor against overheating.
