Applications
The IBO KBFU INOX series is designed to drain water from construction sites, mines, and quarries – anywhere the pumped medium contains sand, sludge, or other mechanical contaminants. The motor housing and shaft made of AISI 316 stainless steel provide corrosion resistance in conditions of higher acidity, where standard models made of gray cast iron would not be suitable. The KBFU INOX 50-0.40 pumps water down to an exceptionally low level of 5 mm, making it useful wherever complete emptying of a tank or excavation is required.
A key design feature is the vertical outlet direction and threaded DN 2" connection, allowing the discharge hose to be connected quickly using a hose clamp or quick coupling.
