The KBFU series is designed to drain water from construction sites, mines, and quarries—wherever the pumped medium contains sand, sludge, or fine aggregate that damages standard centrifugal pumps. The durable cast-iron hydraulic unit and impeller coated with a heavy-duty chromium-alloy wear-resistant layer withstand demanding operating conditions, reducing the risk of unplanned downtime and service costs. The vertical discharge direction facilitates installation in narrow collection wells and confined excavations where operating space is limited.
A key design element is the cooling jacket surrounding the motor. Thanks to it, the pump does not need to be fully submerged in the pumped medium to maintain a safe operating temperature—the motor is cooled through the jacket wall even when the water level in the excavation is already very low. This is a significant advantage during the final stage of dewatering, when a standard pump without a jacket would have to be switched off. Thermal protection built into the motor winding provides an additional layer of protection against overheating during prolonged continuous operation.

Both models have the same power rating of 1.5 kW, but differ in power supply: model M operates at 230 V (single-phase), while model T operates at 400 V (three-phase). The three-phase version offers higher capacity—750 l/min compared with 420 l/min—and is recommended wherever a three-phase power supply is available.
How do I connect the discharge hose to the KBFU 50-1.5 pump?
The 2" discharge outlet is threaded, so the discharge hose can be connected using a clamp or quick coupling, without specialist tools. The outlet points vertically, making it easier to route the hose upward when installing in a narrow trench or well.
