IBO KBFU 100-3.7 400 V submersible slurry pump
The KBFU 100-3.7 is a three-phase slurry pump with a power rating of 3.7 kW, supplied with 400 V and featuring a 4" DN connection and a capacity of 1,650 l/min. Switching to a four-inch connection compared with the DN 3" series with the same power results in a significant increase in flow rate – this model is intended for applications where the fastest possible removal of large quantities of water containing sand, sludge and abrasive particles is essential.
Who it is for
-
Construction companies dewatering large construction sites – a capacity of 1,650 l/min at just 3.7 kW offers an exceptionally favorable ratio in this class of slurry pumps.
-
Mines and extraction facilities – the large DN 4" connection enables the use of high-capacity pipelines, reducing pressure losses at high flow rates.
-
Hydrotechnical and land-drainage contractors – high capacity combined with relatively low weight for its capabilities makes transport and rapid on-site installation easier.
-
Designers of drainage systems – the basic DN 4" model in the KBFU range, with well-documented specifications, simplifies selection for construction and industrial projects.
-
Municipal companies and technical services – high capacity at moderate power consumption helps reduce energy costs during prolonged dewatering.
Applications
The KBFU series is designed to drain water from construction sites, mines and quarries – wherever the pumped medium contains sand, sludge or abrasive particles that damage standard centrifugal pumps. The durable cast-iron hydraulic unit and impeller coated with a highly wear-resistant chromium-alloy layer withstand harsh operating conditions, reducing the risk of unplanned downtime and service costs. The DN 4" connection, with a vertical outlet direction, allows high-capacity pipelines to be connected directly above the pump.
A key design element is the cooling jacket surrounding the motor. Thanks to it, the pump does not have to be fully submerged in the pumped medium to maintain a safe operating temperature – the motor is cooled through the jacket wall even when the water level in the excavation is already very low. Thermal protection built into the motor winding provides an additional layer of protection against overheating during prolonged continuous operation.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – KBFU 100-3.7 slurry pump
What do I gain by choosing the KBFU 100-3.7 instead of the KBFU 80-3.7?
With the same power rating of 3.7 kW, the 100-3.7 model offers a capacity of 1,650 l/min compared with 920 l/min for the 80-3.7 model – 80% more flow at the same energy consumption. The trade-off is lower head – 18.5 m compared with 29 m. If the installation primarily requires rapid water removal rather than discharge pressure, the 100-3.7 model is the right choice.
Does the lower weight of the KBFU 100-3.7 pump also reduce its performance?
No. Despite weighing 63.8 kg, similar to the 80-3.7 model, the pump offers a higher capacity than most other models.
What abrasive particles can the KBFU 100-3.7 handle?
The model is designed to pump water containing particles up to 5 mm in diameter, including sand, sludge and fine aggregate. The SiC-SiC / SiC-SiC mechanical seal provides increased durability when pumping media with a high content of abrasive particles.
Where can I buy the IBO KBFU 100-3.7 pump?
The model is available from Dambat’s trade partners, plumbing wholesalers and specialist technical stores in Poland. Dambat does not sell directly.
How long is the warranty for the KBFU 100-3.7?
IBO – 24-month (2-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat, Adamów 50, Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
