Kappa K220.2.80 N (2,2 kW, 400 V) sludge pump

Kappa pumps are capable of pumping water containing abrasive particles of sand and clay, chips, and other potentially abrasive suspensions found on rocky surfaces, construction sites, and in mines. Kappa series pumps are built from high-quality components, such as hardened stainless steel, nitrile rubber, and aluminum-alloy connections. This guarantees excellent resistance to wear over time. Protective devices across the entire range reduce any damage caused by overheating. High hydraulic efficiency and low weight allow Kappa pumps to be used versatilely and efficiently. The undeniable advantages of Kappa pumps include a hardened-steel hydraulic impeller with a hardness of 55–60 HRC (a cast-iron impeller is used only in the K055–K075 versions), a rubber-coated pump body that deflects sand and other abrasive particles, significantly extending the pump’s service life, and cooling provided by the pumped liquid flowing through the body.
