Description
The IVR 400T Intelligent Pump Controller is a control and protection device for direct connection to three-phase submersible, surface, immersible, and other pumps rated from 11 kW to 37 kW (15 HP to 50 HP), maintaining constant, preset water pressure by changing the pump motor's rotational speed. The IVR 400T (also known as an inverter or variable-frequency drive) is a drive with a three-phase frequency converter, specially designed to manage the performance of a water pump, allowing it to adapt to a wide range of conditions and requirements in water supply systems. The IVR 400T drive enables the pump to operate more efficiently, safely, and intelligently, reducing energy consumption and extending the pump's service life. The IVR 400T drive is made of high-quality components and materials and uses the latest microprocessor technology.
The IVR 400 T model has multiple operating modes, adapting to various electrical installations. IVR 400 T series controllers can be used in pump groups of up to 6 pumps—maximum 2 master devices and 4 auxiliary devices.
FEATURES:
- Energy efficiency: compared with traditional methods, a constant-pressure water supply system with a frequency converter saves 30%–60% energy.
- Long-term reliability of cooperating pumps: average torque and shaft wear are reduced due to the decrease in average rotational speed, ensuring a longer pump service life. The soft-start and device-stop function eliminates water hammer (the water hammer effect is a sudden increase in pressure accompanying the rapid stopping or starting of liquid flow).
- Comprehensive protection: the system features highly versatile overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short-circuit, and rotor-lock protection, as well as the ability to protect the pump against dry running without the need to install probes/sensors in the well.
- Possibility of connecting controllers into pump groups of up to 6 pumps. The group is controlled by one controller selected by the user as the master. The others adjust their operation to the system requirements.
APPLICATION
The IVR 400T model is useful in all cases where it is necessary to maintain constant water pressure in the installation and control and protect a single pump that manages automatic switching on and off through various electrical installations.

- Dry-run protection: If the drive detects that the pressure in the pipe is lower than the set low-water-pressure value, the system automatically stops operating. After a specified time, it automatically restarts under certain conditions. If the pressure returns to normal, the system operates normally. Otherwise, the system stops automatically, which, in the event of pump idling, maximizes its service life.
- High-pressure alarm: When the pressure exceeds the set value, the system automatically stops operating, preventing damage to the pipes caused by excessive pressure.
- Automatic energy-saving mode: Automatically reduces the output voltage under light loads to save energy.
- Password setting: A 4-bit password can be set using non-zero numbers. After exiting the setting interface, the password will become valid after 1 minute.
- Parameter locking: Specify whether the parameter is locked while running or stopped in the event of incorrect operation. Operating conditions.
- Installation: Installation should be carried out in conditions free from direct sunlight, dust, corrosive and flammable gases, oil mist, water vapor, and moisture.
