Soft starting and stopping eliminate water hammer, while lower average speeds reduce energy consumption.
It is most commonly used in water supply systems, industry, water utilities and treatment plants, field and greenhouse irrigation, and systems using rainwater. Several controllers can be connected into a pump group serving a single system. The IVR 10 inverter is available in a 1×230 V / 3×400 V version.
IVR 10 Features
The IVR 10 maintains constant pressure by controlling the pump using SPWM and V/F control technology (variable speed, variable frequency) with a PID algorithm. Based on continuous pressure analysis, the inverter adjusts the pump speed to the actual demand, reducing energy and water consumption while extending the pump’s service life through lower average speeds. Dry-run protection operates without the need to install probes or sensors in the well.
Several IVR 10 controllers can be connected into a pump group comprising up to 6 pumps, managed from a single, selected master device. The device is selected to match the pump’s power, voltage, and current.
