Applications
The IVR 10 inverter is used wherever constant water pressure and pump control and protection are required. It connects directly to a submersible, surface-mounted, or immersion pump—single-phase or three-phase—and takes over automatic starting, stopping, and speed adjustment according to the system’s current demand. Soft starting and stopping eliminate water hammer, while lower average speeds reduce energy consumption.
It is most commonly used in water supply systems, industry, water utilities and treatment plants, field and greenhouse irrigation, and systems using rainwater. Several controllers can be connected into a pump group serving one system. The IVR 10 inverter is available in a 1×230 V / 3×400 V version.
IVR 10 Features
The IVR 10 maintains constant pressure by controlling the pump using SPWM technology and V/F control (variable speed, variable frequency) with a PID algorithm. Through continuous pressure analysis, the inverter adjusts the pump speed to actual demand, reducing energy and water consumption while extending pump life through lower average speeds. Dry-run protection operates without the need to install probes or sensors in the well.
Several IVR 10 controllers can be connected into a pump group consisting of up to 6 pumps, managed from one selected master device. The device is selected for the pump according to its power, voltage, and current. As a professional device, the IVR 10 should be installed by a qualified installer, with effective grounding and, where necessary, additional measures to limit electromagnetic interference.
