The IBO IVR 03 is an intelligent controller for water pumps, designed for professional applications. It maintains constant preset pressure in the system by smoothly adjusting the pump’s speed to the current water demand, while also protecting it against dry running, overload, short circuits, and voltage fluctuations. The device can operate with both single-phase and three-phase pumps.

Applications
The IVR 03 inverter is used wherever constant water pressure and pump control and protection are required. It connects directly to a surface or submersible pump and takes over automatic start-up, shutdown, and speed adjustment according to the system’s current demand, while eliminating water hammer through smooth starting and stopping.
It is most commonly used in water-supply systems, greenhouse, garden, and field irrigation, rainwater utilization, and industrial and agricultural facilities. It can also control two pumps supplying a single system.
IVR 03 features
The IVR 03 maintains constant pressure by controlling the pump using SPWM technology and V/F control (variable speed, variable frequency) with a PID algorithm. Through continuous pressure analysis, the inverter adjusts the pump speed to actual demand, reducing energy and water consumption and – due to lower average speed – extending the pump’s service life. Dry-run protection operates without the need to install probes or sensors in the well.
The device is selected according to the pump’s power, supply voltage, and current. Constant pressure is set using a simple adjustment range, and operation can be carried out in automatic or manual mode. The IP55 protection rating allows the inverter to be installed in technical rooms and pump rooms.

It only requires a small diaphragm vessel with a capacity of 2 liters or more.
Which pumps is the IVR 03 compatible with?
The IVR 03 is designed for surface and submersible pumps with power ratings of up to 1.1 / 1.5 / 2.2 kW. It is not recommended for deep-well pumps, where the power cable may be very long – such systems require additional technical solutions. The controller can also operate two pumps supplying a single system.
Does the IVR 03 require installation by a professional?
Yes. The IVR 03 is not a household appliance and should be installed only by people with the appropriate technical qualifications. Installation requires effective grounding and, in environments sensitive to interference, the use of shielded cables and filters compliant with EN 61800-3.
