IBO IVR 03-015 S inverter for pump/h2>
IBO IVR 03 is an intelligent controller for water pumps, designed for professional applications. It maintains constant, preset pressure in the system, smoothly adjusting the pump’s rotational speed to current water demand while protecting it against dry running, overload, short circuits, and voltage fluctuations. The device can operate with both single-phase and three-phase pumps.
Who is it for?
- Installers and service companies – full control over pump operation and advanced protection features, ready for professional installation.
- Industrial facilities and production halls – constant pressure in technical systems with variable consumption.
- Farms and livestock operations – energy savings and longer pump life in irrigation and water supply applications.
- Managers of public buildings and warehouses – stable pressure and pump protection in single- and dual-pump systems.
Applications
The IVR 03 inverter is used wherever constant water pressure and pump control and protection are required. It connects directly to a surface or submersible pump and takes over automatic start-up, shutdown, and speed adjustment according to the system’s current demand, while eliminating water hammer through smooth starting and stopping.
It is most commonly used in water supply systems, greenhouse, garden, and field irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and industrial and agricultural facilities. It can also manage the operation of two pumps supplying a single system.
IVR 03 features
The IVR 03 maintains constant pressure by controlling the pump using SPWM technology and V/F control (variable speed, variable frequency) with a PID algorithm. Through continuous pressure analysis, the inverter adjusts the pump speed to actual demand, reducing energy and water consumption and—through lower average speeds—extending the pump’s service life. The dry-run protection operates without the need to install probes or sensors in the well.
The device is selected for the pump based on its power, supply voltage, and current. Constant pressure is set using a simple adjustment range, and operation can be automatic or manual. The IP55 protection rating allows the inverter to be installed in technical rooms and pump rooms.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – What is the IVR 03 variable frequency drive used for?
What is the IVR 03 variable frequency drive used for?
The IVR 03 variable frequency drive is a controller that maintains constant water pressure in the system by smoothly regulating the speed of the connected pump. At the same time, it protects the pump against dry running, overload, short circuits, and voltage fluctuations, and automatically switches it on and off depending on water consumption.
How does the IVR 03 variable frequency drive differ from a conventional pressure-boosting system?
A conventional pressure-boosting system starts the pump on and off and relies on a large tank, causing pressure fluctuations. The IVR 03 variable frequency drive continuously adjusts the pump speed using SPWM technology with PID control, maintaining constant pressure and reducing energy consumption. A small diaphragm tank with a capacity of 2 liters or more is sufficient.
Which pumps is the IVR 03 compatible with?
The IVR 03 is designed for surface and submersible pumps with a power rating of up to 1.1 / 1.5 / 2.2 kW. It is not recommended for deep-well pumps, in which the power cable can be very long—in such systems, additional technical solutions are required. The controller can also operate two pumps supplying a single installation.
Does the IVR 03 require installation by a professional installer?
Yes. The IVR 03 is not a household appliance and should be installed exclusively by persons with appropriate technical qualifications. Installation requires effective grounding and, in environments sensitive to interference, the use of shielded cables and filters compliant with EN 61800-3.
Is the IVR 03 covered by a manufacturer’s warranty?
IBO – 24-month (2-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Dambat provides warranty and post-warranty service.
Where can the IBO IVR 03 variable frequency drive be purchased?
As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly to customers. The IBO IVR 03 variable frequency drive is available from our retail partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
