Application
submersible pump ISQ z float switch is intended for pumping technically clean and slightly polluted water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The pump is used for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes and rivers, feeding ponds and draining flooded rooms, houses, garages and premises. The pump is not a water treatment device - when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
The device operates in a vertical position, tolerating water pH in the range of 6.5–8.5, with a maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 50°C. Minimum pump immersion z float switch is 25 cm - so that Float he could move freely.
Features of the ISQ z pump float switch
The pump is made of AISI 304 stainless steel - motor housing, shaft, rotor and impeller - making it resistant to corrosion in constant contact with water. The cooling jacket allows the pump to operate without being fully immersed in water.
The built-in float switch automatically controls the pump operation depending on the water level and provides basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the pump against overheating.

The slim stainless steel housing allows installation in narrower wells than in the case of pumps with a more expansive design, with a minimum immersion of 25 cm ensuring free movement of the float.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
