Applications
The ISQ AUTO submersible pump is designed for pumping clean and slightly contaminated water free of abrasive elements such as sand. The pump is suitable for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers, supplying water features, and draining flooded rooms, houses, garages, and commercial premises.
The device operates in a vertical position and tolerates water with a pH range of 6.5–8.5, with a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of up to 50°C. The minimum immersion depth of the AUTO version is 7 cm, significantly less than that of pumps with a traditional float.
Features of the ISQ AUTO pump
The pump is made of AISI 304 stainless steel – the motor housing, shaft, rotor, and impeller – making it resistant to corrosion during continuous contact with water. The cooling jacket allows the pump to operate without being fully immersed in water.
The electronic automatic controller replaces a traditional float switch, switching the pump on when the pressure in the system drops and switching it off once the required pressure is reached. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the pump from overheating.
