Brief description
As the manufacturer of the IBO brand, we design IQX series submersible pumps for pumping clean and lightly contaminated water. Our devices with Vortex impellers combine simple operation, automatic operation with a float switch, and parameters suitable for domestic, agricultural, and industrial applications.
Who it is for
- Household users gain a device for pumping water out of flooded rooms and for cleaning work involving clean and lightly contaminated water.
- Property and technical facility owners receive a pump for emptying tanks and septic tanks within the range permitted by the impeller's free passage.
- Installers and service technicians benefit from the compact design, included float switch, and clearly defined operating parameters.
- Farms gain a solution for handling contaminated water in typical utility and technical applications.
- Industrial customers receive robust submersible pumps for pretreated wastewater and contaminated water, in accordance with the IQX series catalog data.
Applications
- Pumping water out of flooded rooms.
- Emptying septic tanks and utility tanks.
- Work in domestic and agricultural settings.
- Handling pretreated wastewater and lightly contaminated water.
- Industrial applications requiring a submersible pump with a float switch.
The IQX 230 V submersible pump was developed for operation under conditions consistent with the parameters specified for the particular model in the series.
Features, description, and technical data
The IBO IQX series consists of submersible pumps designed for pumping clean and contaminated water, provided that the diameter of the contaminants does not exceed the limit permitted for the specific model. The Vortex impeller supports operation in media containing light contamination and ensures stable discharge conditions in accordance with the device's hydraulic performance curve.
Each IQX pump is equipped with a float switch that automatically turns the device on and off depending on the water level. This solution simplifies operation and enables automatic operation, provided that the pump is properly submerged and the user supervises operation when the immersion level is lower than the pump's height.
The series includes models with a power supply of 230 V / 50 Hz and a rotational speed of 2850 RPM. The catalog data includes, among others: IQX 25-370 with a power rating of 370 W, a head of up to 8.5 m, and a capacity of up to 220 l/min; IQX 50-750 with a power rating of 750 W, a head of up to 14 m, and a capacity of up to 383 l/min; and IQX 50-1500 with a power rating of 1500 W, a head of up to 17.5 m, and a capacity of up to 450 l/min.
The operating conditions for the IQX series include a maximum medium temperature of 35°C, water pH of 6.5–8.5, insulation class F, IPX8 protection rating, and S1 operating mode. The pump must not run dry, as this may damage the device; the minimum immersion level during operation should not be less than the height of the pump.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – what is the IQX submersible pump used for?
Does the manufacturer sell IBO IQX pumps directly?
As a manufacturer, we focus on supplying proven equipment and providing technical support. IBO IQX products are offered by commercial partners, distributors, and installation wholesalers.
How do I choose the right model from the IQX series?
Model selection should take into account the required capacity, head, contaminant diameter, and discharge connection diameter. The series includes models from 370 W to 1500 W, with various hydraulic parameters and dimensions.
What media are IBO IQX pumps intended for?
IBO IQX submersible pumps are intended for clean and contaminated water, within the range corresponding to the permissible passage through the impeller for the specific model. The product data sheet also indicates applications involving pretreated wastewater and lightly contaminated water.
What distinguishes the Vortex impeller in the IQX series?
The IQX series uses a Vortex impeller that supports pumping media with light contamination. In practice, this means a design intended for applications where a standard clean-water pump would be insufficient.
Can the IQX pump operate automatically?
Yes, every pump in this series is equipped with a float switch that automatically controls the device's activation and shutdown depending on the water level. This solution facilitates operation in tanks, sumps, and flooded rooms.
What are the basic operating rules for IBO IQX pumps?
The pump must not run dry, as this may damage the device. The minimum immersion level during operation should be no less than the height of the pump; with less immersion, direct user supervision is required.
What manufacturer's warranty does the IBO IQX series have?
IBO IQX series products come with a 24-month, or 2-year, manufacturer's warranty. Details of the warranty terms are available in the product documentation and from commercial partners.
