Brief description
As the manufacturer of the IBO brand, we design IQX series submersible pumps for pumping clean and slightly contaminated water. Our devices with Vortex impellers combine easy operation, automatic float-controlled operation, and parameters suitable for domestic, agricultural, and industrial applications.
Who it is for
- Household users – they get a device for pumping water out of flooded rooms and for cleanup work involving clean and slightly contaminated water.
- Property and technical facility owners – they get a pump for emptying tanks and septic tanks within the range permitted by the impeller’s free passage.
- Installers and service technicians – they benefit from the compact design, included float, and clearly defined operating parameters.
- Farms – they gain a solution for handling contaminated water in typical utility and technical applications.
- Industrial customers – they receive powerful submersible pumps for treated wastewater and contaminated water, in accordance with the IQX series catalog sheet.
Applications
- Pumping water out of flooded rooms.
- Emptying septic tanks and utility tanks.
- Work in households and on farms.
- Handling treated wastewater and slightly contaminated water.
- Industrial applications requiring a submersible pump with a float.
The IQX 230 V submersible pump was developed to operate under conditions consistent with the parameters specified for the particular model in the series.
Features, description, and technical data
The IBO IQX series consists of submersible pumps designed for pumping clean and contaminated water, provided that the diameter of the contaminants does not exceed the limit permitted for the particular model. The Vortex impeller design supports operation in media containing light contaminants and ensures stable pumping conditions in accordance with the device’s hydraulic characteristics.
Each IQX pump is equipped with a float that automatically switches the device on and off depending on the water level. This solution facilitates operation and enables automatic operation, provided that proper submersion is maintained and the user supervises operation when the submersion level is lower than the pump’s height.
The series includes models with a power supply of 230 V / 50 Hz and a rotational speed of 2850 RPM. The catalog data includes, among others: IQX 25-370 with a power rating of 370 W, a head of up to 8.5 m, and a capacity of up to 220 l/min; IQX 50-750 with a power rating of 750 W, a head of up to 14 m, and a capacity of up to 383 l/min; and IQX 50-1500 with a power rating of 1500 W, a head of up to 17.5 m, and a capacity of up to 450 l/min.
The operating conditions for the IQX series include a maximum medium temperature of 35°C, water pH of 6.5–8.5, insulation class F, IPX8 protection rating, and S1 operating mode. The pump must not run dry, as this may damage the device; the minimum submersion level during operation should not be lower than the pump’s height. IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer’s warranty.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – what is the IQX submersible pump used for?
Does the manufacturer sell IBO IQX pumps directly?
As the manufacturer, we focus on supplying proven devices and providing technical support. IBO IQX products are offered by sales partners, distributors, and installation wholesalers.
How do I choose the right model from the IQX series?
Model selection should take into account the required capacity, head, contaminant diameter, and discharge outlet diameter. The series includes models from 370 W to 1500 W, with different hydraulic parameters and dimensions.
What media are IBO IQX pumps designed for?
IBO IQX submersible pumps are designed for clean and contaminated water, within the range permitted by the impeller’s free passage for the particular model. The catalog sheet also indicates applications involving treated wastewater and slightly contaminated water.
What distinguishes the Vortex impeller in the IQX series?
The IQX series uses a Vortex impeller that supports pumping media containing light contaminants. In practice, this means a design intended for applications where a standard clean-water pump would be insufficient.
Can the IQX pump operate automatically?
Yes, every pump in this series is equipped with a float that automatically controls switching the device on and off depending on the water level. This solution facilitates operation in tanks, inspection chambers, and flooded rooms.
What are the basic operating rules for IBO IQX pumps?
The pump must not run dry, as this may destroy the device. The minimum submersion level during operation should be no lower than the pump’s height, and direct user supervision is required at a lower submersion level.
What manufacturer’s warranty does the IBO IQX series have?
IBO brand products from the IQX series are covered by a 24-month, or 2-year, manufacturer’s warranty. Details of the warranty conditions are available in the product documentation and from sales partners.
