IPK 400 - submersible pump with float switch
submersible pump IPK 400 by IBO is a 400 W device designed for pumping
technically clean and slightly polluted water, free from grinding elements. Float mechanical
built into the body controls the operation of the pump and protects the engine against starting without water,
and the compact design allows for installation in small wells and tanks.
For whom
-
House and plot owners – compact design allows installation in small wells and rainwater tanks.
-
Installation and service companies – Float built into the body automates the operation of the pump without the need to install additional control equipment.
-
Agricultural and breeding farms – the pump is suitable for pumping water from ponds, reservoirs and shallow ring wells.
-
Wholesale and technical stores – the model complements the offer with a variant with proven float control, resistant to simple installation conditions.
Application
submersible pump IPK 400 is designed for pumping technically clean and light water
contaminated, not containing grinding elements such as sand. The pump serves
for draining flooded rooms, swimming pools and wells, as well as for pumping water
from ponds, rivers, lakes and shallow ring wells. The pump is not a treatment device
water - when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
The device operates in a vertical position, fully immersed, at maximum temperature
pumped liquid up to 35°C. The permissible size of soft solid impurities is:
30 mm, which allows you to work in slightly polluted water without the risk of blocking
rotor. submersible pump IPK 400 230 V works well in wells and tanks
with dimensions enabling free movement of the float.
Features of the IPK 400 pump
The IPK 400 pump housing is made of technopolymer, and the shaft and rotor are made of technopolymer
AISI 304 stainless steel motor. Multi-blade PPO polymer rotor
mechanical stuffing box in the SiC/graphite system ensures resistance to typical contaminations
occurring in raw and slightly polluted water.
Float a mechanical switch built into the pump body automatically turns the pump on and off
depending on the water level, while providing basic protection against
dry work. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against
overheating, and the threaded discharge port allows you to connect hoses of different diameters.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump IPK 400
What type of water is the IPK 400 pump intended for?
The IPK 400 pump is intended for technically clean and slightly polluted water that does not contain any
grinding elements such as sand. Permissible size of soft impurities
fixed is 30 mm.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
It provides protection Float mechanical built into the pump body that shuts off Power supply
engine when the water level drops below a safe minimum. Additionally, security
thermal insulation in the winding protects the motor against overheating.
What is the difference between the IPK 400 pump and the IPE 400?
Both pumps have identical hydraulic and electrical parameters, but they differ in their method
work control – IPK 400 uses Float mechanical built into the body, and IPE 400
electronic level probe. Float mechanical is a proven, simpler solution
for wells and tanks with standard dimensions.
What sump dimensions are needed for the IPK 400 pump?
The sump or tank should be of a size that allows the swimmer to swim freely
moving with the water level, without hitting the walls. When in doubt
