The IBO IP 400 submersible pump is a series of devices with a technopolymer housing, designed for pumping clean and slightly contaminated water free from abrasive particles. Application
The IP series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping clean and slightly contaminated water free from abrasive particles such as sand. The pumps are used for draining flooded rooms, basements, garages, swimming pools, and sumps, as well as for transferring water from ponds, rivers, and surface reservoirs.
The devices operate in a vertical position, fully submerged, at a maximum pumped-liquid temperature of up to 35°C. The permissible size of soft solid contaminants is 30 mm, allowing operation in slightly contaminated water without the risk of impeller blockage. The IP 230 V submersible pump is suitable for both domestic applications and service work requiring the device to be moved quickly.
Features of the IP series
IP series pumps feature a technopolymer housing, while the motor shaft and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The PPO polymer impeller and SiC/graphite mechanical seal provide resistance to typical contaminants found in raw and slightly contaminated water.
The integrated float switch automatically turns the pump on and off depending on the water level, while also providing basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overheating, and the threaded, stepped discharge outlet allows hoses of various diameters to be connected.
