IP 400 - submersible pump with float switch
submersible pump IP 400 by IBO is a series of devices with a technopolymer casing, designed for pumping clean and slightly polluted water, without grinding elements. The power range from 400 W (IP 400 / IP 400 MINI) to 1100 W (IP 1100) allows you to select the model to suit the performance needed in a given installation. The built-in float switch automatically controls the pump and protects the engine against starting without water.
For whom
-
House and plot owners – the power range from 400 W to 1100 W allows you to select a model depending on the scale of flooding or the efficiency needed when emptying tanks.
-
Installation and service companies – built-in float switch automates pump operation without the need to install additional control equipment.
-
Agricultural and breeding farms – pumps are suitable for pumping water from ponds, reservoirs and shallow ring wells for irrigation or watering animals.
-
Municipal and construction services – compact design and low weight facilitate quick, portable installation for emergency drainage of excavations and flooded rooms.
Application
The IP series of submersible pumps is designed for pumping clean and slightly polluted water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. Pumps are used to drain flooded rooms, basements, garages, swimming pools and wells, as well as to pump water from ponds, rivers and surface reservoirs.
The devices operate in a vertical position, fully immersed, with a maximum temperature of the pumped liquid of up to 35°C. The permissible size of soft solid impurities is 30 mm, which allows operation in slightly polluted water without the risk of blocking the impeller. submersible pump IP 230 V works well both in home applications and in service work requiring quick relocation of the device.
Features of the IP series
The IP series pumps are constructed with a technopolymer casing, and the motor shaft and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The PPO polymer impeller and the mechanical stuffing box in the SiC/graphite system ensure resistance to typical contaminants found in raw and slightly polluted water.
The integrated float switch automatically turns the pump on and off depending on the water level, providing basic protection against dry running. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overheating, and the threaded, stepped discharge port allows the connection of hoses of various diameters.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – submersible pump IP
What type of water is it intended for? submersible pump IP?
IP series pumps are designed for clean and slightly polluted water that does not contain grinding elements such as sand. The permissible size of soft solid impurities is 30 mm.
How does the pump protect itself against dry running?
Protection is provided by a built-in float switch that shuts off Power supply engine when the water level drops below a safe minimum. Additionally, thermal protection in the winding protects the motor against overheating.
What is the difference between the IP pump and the IP INOX version?
Both lines have identical hydraulic and electrical parameters within the corresponding power range, but they differ in the housing material - the IP series uses technopolymer, and the IP INOX uses a housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The choice depends on whether the priority is low weight (IP) or additional mechanical resistance of the housing (IP INOX).
How to choose an IP pump model for your needs?
The choice of model depends on the required lifting height and efficiency - the series includes variants from 400 W (IP 400 / IP 400 MINI) to 1100 W (IP 1100), selected according to the scale of flooding or the size of the tank to be emptied. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can you buy an IP submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. IP series pumps are available from trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the IP pump?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
