Short description
As the manufacturer of the IBO brand, we designed the IDL series submersible pumps for pumping clean and contaminated water, including water with a small amount of sand. Our devices combine automatic float-switch operation, a compact design, and parameters suitable for domestic, agricultural, and industrial applications.
Who it is for
- Household users – gain a pump for pumping water out of flooded rooms and for cleaning work involving clean and contaminated water.
- Property and technical facility owners – receive a device for emptying septic tanks and utility tanks in accordance with the parameters of the given model.
- Installers and service technicians – benefit from a pump equipped with a float switch, with clearly defined operating data and installation dimensions.
- Farms – gain a solution for handling contaminated water and pretreated wastewater in everyday technical applications.
- Industrial customers – receive a powerful submersible pump for applications requiring durable operation under more demanding operating conditions.
Application
- Pumping water out of flooded rooms.
- Emptying septic tanks and utility tanks.
- Work on residential and agricultural properties.
- Handling pretreated wastewater and contaminated water.
- Applications requiring the pumping of water with a small amount of sand.
The IDL 230 V submersible pump was developed for operation under conditions matching the parameters specified for the particular model in the series.
Features, description, and technical data
The IBO IDL series includes submersible pumps designed for pumping clean and contaminated water. According to the product data sheet, the devices are also intended for pumping water with a small amount of sand, provided that the diameter of the impurities does not exceed the limit permitted for the given pump type.
IDL pumps use an open screw impeller. This design adapts the device for operation with media containing impurities within the range specified for the given model and maintains the appropriate pumping parameters.
Each pump in the IDL series is equipped with a float switch that automatically turns the device on and off depending on the water level. This solution supports automatic operation; however, the manufacturer requires maintaining a minimum immersion level no lower than the pump's height, and direct user supervision is necessary at a lower immersion level.
The series operates at 230 V / 50 Hz, with insulation class F, IPX8 protection rating, and a rotational speed of 2850 RPM. Operating conditions include a maximum medium temperature of 35°C, water pH of 6.5–8.5, and S1 duty mode.
The catalog data includes, among others: IDL 25-370, with a power rating of 370 W, head of up to 10 m, and flow rate of up to 170 l/min; IDL 50-750, with a power rating of 750 W, head of up to 15 m, and flow rate of up to 400 l/min; and IDL 50-1500, with a power rating of 1500 W, head of up to 20 m, and flow rate of up to 420 l/min.
The pump must not run dry, as this may damage the device. In the event of any operating malfunction, immediately disconnect the pump’s electrical power supply.
IBO – a 24-month (2-year) manufacturer’s warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – What is the IDL submersible pump used for?
Does the manufacturer sell IBO IDL pumps directly?
As a manufacturer, we focus on equipment development and technical support. IBO IDL products are offered by sales partners, distributors, and installation wholesalers.
How do you choose the right model from the IDL series?
Model selection should take into account the required flow rate, head, discharge connection diameter, and the permissible passage through the impeller. The series includes models from 370 W to 1500 W, with varying hydraulic parameters and dimensions.
What media are IBO IDL pumps designed for?
IBO IDL submersible pumps are designed to pump clean and contaminated water. According to the product data sheet, they can also pump water containing small amounts of sand.
What distinguishes the open screw impeller in the IDL series?
The IDL series uses an open screw impeller designed to handle media containing contaminants within the limits permitted for the specific model. This solution suits the pump’s operation in utility and technical applications.
Can the IDL pump operate automatically?
Yes, pumps in this series are equipped with a float switch that automatically controls the device’s start and stop depending on the water level. This makes operation easier in tanks, sumps, and flooded rooms.
What are the basic operating rules for IBO IDL pumps?
The pump must not run dry, as this may damage the device. The minimum immersion level during operation should be no lower than the pump’s height; if the immersion level is lower, the user must directly supervise operation.
What manufacturer’s warranty does the IBO IDL series have?
IBO IDL series products are covered by a 24-month, or 2-year, manufacturer’s warranty. Detailed warranty terms are available in the product documentation and from sales partners.
