Applications
The IC 400 submersible pump is designed for pumping clean and slightly contaminated water free from abrasive particles such as sand, as well as water containing chlorine. The pump is used to drain flooded rooms, swimming pools, and sumps.
It can also pump water from ponds, rivers, tanks, and shallow ring wells. The IC 400 230 V submersible pump draws water virtually down to the bottom, allowing the tank to be almost completely emptied.
Features of the IC 400 pump
The pump has a technopolymer housing, which ensures that the device is lightweight. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, the impeller is made of PPO polymer, and the mechanical seal uses a SiC/graphite arrangement.
The pump has two interchangeable bases that allow the suction height to be adjusted to the current water level – depending on the situation, the pump can be used without a base or with one of the two included bases. The discharge outlet allows hoses of different diameters to be connected. The built-in float switch automatically controls the pump’s operation, while the thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overheating.
