The IBX AUTO sludge pump is designed for pumping water contaminated with abrasive materials such as sand and silt, while maintaining a compact design. It is used mainly in residential construction for dewatering excavations, as well as for irrigation and dewatering construction sites.
The pump is also suitable for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers. Thanks to the cooling jacket surrounding the motor, the pump can operate while only partially submerged.
Features of the IBX AUTO pump
The pump has a motor housing and body made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the shaft and rotor are made of AISI 420SS stainless steel, which is harder and more wear-resistant than standard AISI 304 steel. The semi-open impeller is made of exceptionally durable ductile iron, ensuring excellent durability during constant contact with sand.
Unlike the KBFU series pumps, the IBX AUTO is equipped with a control unit that serves as a protective device instead of a traditional float switch. The mechanical seal and NSK bearings ensure tightness and stable operation under heavy loads. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects against overheating.
