Applications
The IBX sludge pump with a float switch is designed for pumping water contaminated with abrasive materials such as sand and silt, while maintaining a compact design. It is used mainly in single-family residential construction to drain excavations, ditches, and construction sites.
The pump is also suitable for removing water from flooded rooms, homes, garages, and premises, as well as for pumping rainwater and surface water from ponds, lakes, and rivers. Thanks to the cooling jacket around the motor, the pump can operate while only partially submerged.
Features of the IBX pump with float switch
The pump features a motor housing and body made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the shaft is made of AISI 420SS stainless steel – harder and more wear-resistant than standard AISI 304 steel, which is important in constant contact with sand. The semi-open impeller is made of a high-chromium alloy with a wear plate (ductile iron), ensuring excellent durability.
Dual thermal protection built into the motor winding protects against overheating, while NSK bearings ensure stable operation under heavy loads. The built-in float switch automatically controls pump operation and provides basic protection against dry running. The SiC/graphite mechanical seal is resistant to high pressure.

How do I choose a model from the IBX series?
