The two-way cooling thermostatic valve is used to protect the heat source against overheating in the central heating system. The valve in a brass body is equipped with two thermostatic elements.
When the limit temperature is reached, the drain valve opens and allows superheated water to be discharged from the heat source into the sewage system. At the same time, the valve replenishing water from the water supply network is opened.
When the temperature drops below the limit temperature, both valves close at the same time.
The two-way thermostatic valve does not replace the safety valve.
It is intended for boilers with a maximum power of 500 kW, with post-cooling up to 100 kW (in accordance with the EN 303-5:2012 standard).
It cannot be mounted with the valve head down.
