A four-way mixing valve is used to regulate the water temperature in an installation. An additional benefit is that it raises the return temperature to the boiler, making the boiler more resistant to corrosion. Compact three- and four-way mixing valves can be operated manually using a handle or electrically using an actuator.
Three- and four-way valves are designed for central heating systems. Mixing valves are ideal for systems requiring precise central heating supply temperature regulation or boiler return protection, as well as for many other applications.
MIX3 and MIX4 valves can be controlled manually or automatically using a mixing valve actuator. Installation of the IBO STER D actuator is recommended.
