The IBO MIX TVR thermostatic mixing valve keeps the temperature of the water returning to the boiler at least at the valve’s opening temperature, thereby preventing low-temperature corrosion of the boiler. As a result, the boiler operates more efficiently and its service life is extended.
The IBO MIX TVR thermostatic mixing valve mixes cold water returning from the heating system or storage tank with hot water leaving the boiler, thereby keeping the water returning to the boiler—and consequently the heat exchanger surfaces—at a temperature at which condensation does not occur.
It does not require a balancing valve to operate, as it features automatic control of the hot-water flow entering from the bypass.
