IBO-GL-TZ-125-40 wellhead
The IBO wellhead is a cover that hermetically seals the casing pipe of a deep well and routes the discharge pipe and the pump's power cable through it. Thanks to the gasket clamped onto the casing pipe, it protects the well from the ingress of contaminants and surface water. The series includes two installation variants—TW and TZ—in several sizes suited to typical well installations.

Applications
The TZ wellhead is used to close the casing pipes of deep wells in which a pump suspended on a line operates. The discharge pipe exits through the head, and the power cable is also routed through it, while the entire assembly remains watertight thanks to compression seals. A well closed in this way is protected from surface water, groundwater, and foreign objects.
The tight closure also allows better use of the capacity of shallower wells—the vacuum that can form between the head and the pump assists water intake as the water level drops. The specific variant depends on the casing pipe diameter, PE pipe diameter, and cable thickness. The IBO TW/TZ wellhead is available in versions suited to 110 and 125 mm casing pipes.
Features of the TZ wellhead series
The body, base, and head cover are made of glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide (PA6+30GF), a material resistant to loads and the conditions inside the well. Sealing is provided by an EPDM ring, while the screws, nuts, and eye for suspending the pump are made of galvanized steel. Each head has a cable gland ensuring a watertight passage for the power cable and a passage for the PE pipe sealed with a gasket.
The series differ in their installation method. The TW series head is fitted inside the casing pipe, while the TZ series head is placed over the casing pipe from above; the TZ version is additionally equipped with a PE quick connector and a threaded link for suspending the pump. Regardless of the variant, the metal eye allows a submersible pump weighing up to 200 kg to be safely suspended.

How do I install a well head?
The PE pipe is connected to the pump's discharge outlet and passed through the well head, while the cable is fed through the cable gland. The pump is suspended on a rope attached to the well head's eye or link, after which the well head is seated in or placed on the casing pipe and the screws are tightened. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer with the power disconnected.
