IBO-GL-TW-110-40 wellhead
The IBO wellhead is a cover that hermetically seals the casing pipe of a deep well and routes the discharge pipe and pump power cable through it. The gasket that clamps onto the casing pipe protects the well against the ingress of contaminants and surface water. The series includes two installation variants—TW and TZ—in several sizes suitable for typical well installations.

Applications
The TW wellhead is used to seal the casing pipes of deep wells in which a pump is suspended on a cable. The discharge pipe and power cable pass through the head, while the entire assembly remains watertight thanks to compression gaskets. A well sealed in this way is protected against surface water, groundwater, and foreign bodies.
The watertight closure allows the capacity of shallower wells to be used more effectively—the space between the head and the pump may develop a vacuum that assists water intake as the water table falls. The specific variant depends on the casing pipe diameter, PE pipe diameter, and cable thickness. The IBO TW/TZ wellhead is available in versions designed for 110 and 125 mm casing pipes.
Features of the TW wellhead series
The body, base, and head cover are made of glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide (PA6+30GF), a material resistant to loads and the conditions found in a well. The seal is made of an EPDM ring, while the screws, nuts, and pump suspension eyelet are made of galvanized steel. Each head has a cable gland ensuring a watertight passage for the power cable, as well as a passage for the PE pipe sealed with a gasket.
The series differ in their installation method. The TW series head is fitted inside the casing pipe, while the TZ series head is placed over the casing pipe from above; the TZ version also features a PE quick connector and a threaded link for suspending the pump. Regardless of the variant, the metal eyelet allows you to safely suspend a submersible pump weighing up to 200 kg.

How do I install the well head?
The PE pipe is connected to the pump’s discharge outlet, passed through the well head, and the cable is fed through the cable gland. The pump is suspended from a rope attached to the eye or link of the well head. The well head is then seated inside or on the casing pipe, and the screws are tightened. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer with the power disconnected.
