IBO CLEANER IC-1 is an alkaline sediment remover, intended for restoring water circulation in new and old central heating installations. Liquid IC-1 effectively removes accumulated hydrogen sulphide from the installation, which can cause pollution and corrosion and produce an unpleasant odor when venting receivers. Does not corrode steel. The liquid is safe for installations.
Liquid IC-1 is generally applicable to installations C.O. The composition has been designed to remove a wide range of contaminants and sludge to significantly reduce the risk of failure and effectively improve the life and efficiency of central heating systems. The product is effective, it is mainly used to improve the flow of cold and at-risk systems where there is no access to hot water.
Application instructions
To clean the central heating installation in accordance with the standard BS7593:2019, circulation of the rinsing liquid must be ensured IC-1 in the installation, with all valves open, for at least one hour. Pump use IBO FLUSH 40 or FLUSH 20 and heating the system will effectively speed up the cleaning process.
Once cleaning is complete, no neutralization procedure is required, however the installation must be drained and thoroughly flushed through all drain points. The next recommended step is to protect the installation with a corrosion inhibitor IP-1.
One liter of liquid IC-1 for central heating flushing is sufficient to clean a typical home central heating installation consisting of a maximum of ten radiators. For larger systems an additional bottle will be required.
Using a higher concentration of fluid does not negatively affect the installation.
1:100 - 1 liter of liquid per 100 liters of installation capacity.
