Magnetic separator IBO IBF-02 – filter for central heating, solar and cooling installations
IBO IBF-02 is a magnetic separator with a double function of retaining ferromagnetic and non-magnetic impurities. Effectively removes iron oxides from circulation, protecting the pump, exchangers and fittings and preventing decreases in boiler efficiency.
The most important advantages
-
Effective filtration ≥ 500 µm – captures solid particles, including magnetite.
-
Strong 9000 Gauss magnet – effective capture of ferromagnetic impurities.
-
High operational resistance – up to 8 bar and 90°C.
-
Versatile use – Central heating, solar and refrigeration systems.
-
Durable materials – brass and PA66-GF30.
Application
Designed to work with water or a mixture of water and glycol (up to 50%). Recommended for:
- central heating installation,
- solar systems,
- refrigeration systems.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What is the IBO IBF-02 magnetic separator used for?
Separator IBF-02 removes contaminants from heating, solar and cooling installations. Effectively stops both ferromagnetic particles (e.g. iron oxides) and non-magnetic particles, protecting the boiler, pump and fittings against failure.
What media can IBF-02 work with?
The separator can work with water and a mixture water and glycol up to 50%. Thanks to this, it can be used in heating, solar and cooling installations.
What are the technical parameters of the IBF-02 separator?
The device is characterized by filtration ≥ 500 µm, the force of a magnet 9000 Gauss, maximum working pressure 8 bar, liquid temperature to 90°C and flow to 50 l/min. Connections: 3/4” × 3/4”.
Is the IBF-02 separator easy to install?
Yes, the separator is equipped with standard connections 3/4”, which allows for quick and convenient installation in most central heating installations as well as solar and cooling systems.
What are the benefits of using a magnetic separator?
Regular use of the separator IBF-02 protects the installation against deposits, extends the life of devices, reduces the risk of failure and maintains high boiler energy efficiency.
