The G2 series (GM-GT bipolar) features a macerating suction system that enables the grinding of solids. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often ones that are already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, liquids containing solids, and anywhere high pressure is required.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and macerator are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (motor side in the oil chamber, impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why a professional GT macerator?
The vacuum knife-cutting system in G2 pumps combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet, enabling it to cut, tear, and grind the solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater as thoroughly as possible. Pieces of rags, cords, or soaked straw are no problem. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily using hex-socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GT macerator pump installations
GT pumps are intended for professional networked wastewater pumping stations and industrial installations (e.g., agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solids-grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet, such as the DUTY 50 and B4.
GT macerator pump control
For controlling GT pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets in a simple relay-and-contactor configuration or a more advanced processor-based configuration.
FEATURES
• Radial-axial macerating system,
• Hardened steel blades ensure effective cutting of contaminants,
• The oil chamber prevents water from entering the motor directly if the seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• The side flanged outlet with an additional thread enables installation on a coupling foot and easy connection of an elbow fitting to a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, connected to a dedicated control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable with free terminals,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures of up to 60°C with the pump completely submerged can be produced on request (not for continuous operation).
