The G2 series (GM-GT dual-pole) features a suction-assisted macerating system that enables the grinding of solids. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often ones that are already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, liquids containing solids, and anywhere high pressure is required.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and macerator are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why choose the professional GT macerator?
The vacuum knife-cutting system in G2 pumps, with a hardened steel knife, combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet so that it can cut, tear, and grind the solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater as thoroughly as possible. Pieces of rags, cords, or soaked straw are no problem. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily using hex socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GT macerator pump installations
GT pumps are intended for professional networked wastewater pumping stations and industrial installations (e.g. agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solids-grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet such as DUTY 50 and B4.

For controlling GT pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets in a simple relay-and-contactor configuration or a more advanced processor-based configuration.
