The G2 series (GM-GT grinder) features a suction-assisted grinding system that enables the grinding of solids. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often ones that are already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, fluids containing solids, and anywhere high pressure is required.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and grinder are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why choose the professional GT grinder?
The vacuum knife-cutting system in G2 pumps uses a hardened-steel blade and combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet to cut, tear, and grind the solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater as thoroughly as possible. Cloths, strings, and soaked straw are no problem. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily thanks to the hex socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GT grinder pump installations
GT pumps are designed for professional networked wastewater pumping stations and industrial installations (e.g. agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solids-grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet such as DUTY 50 and B4.
GT grinder pump control
For controlling GT pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets with a simple relay-and-contactor configuration or a more advanced processor-based controller.
FEATURES
• Radial-axial grinding system,
• Hardened steel blades ensure effective cutting of contaminants,
• The oil chamber prevents water from entering the motor directly if the seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• The side flanged outlet with an additional thread enables installation on a coupling foot and easy connection of an elbow fitting to a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, connected to a dedicated control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with free leads,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be produced to order (not for continuous operation).
