The G2 series (GM-GT two-pole) features a suction-assisted shredding system that enables the grinding of solids. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, liquids containing solids, and any situation where high pressure is required.
Features
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and shredder are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (motor side in the oil chamber, impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why choose a professional GT shredder?
The vacuum knife-cutting system in G2 pumps combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet, cutting, tearing, and grinding the solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater as thoroughly as possible. Pieces of cloth, string, or soaked straw are no problem. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily using hex-socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GT shredder pump installations
GT pumps are intended for professional municipal wastewater pumping stations and industrial installations (e.g. agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solids-grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet, such as DUTY 50 and B4.

For controlling GT pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets in a simple relay-and-contactor version or a more advanced processor-controller version.
