The G2 series (GT two-pole) features a suction-assisted grinding system that enables solid materials to be macerated. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, liquids containing solids, and anywhere high pressure is required.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and cutter are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (motor side in the oil chamber, impeller side in contact with the liquid), together with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why choose a professional GT macerator?
The vacuum knife-cutting system made of hardened steel in G2 pumps combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet so that it can cut, tear, and grind the solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater as precisely as possible. Pieces of rags, strings, or soaked straw are no problem. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily thanks to the hex socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GT macerator pump installations
GT pumps are designed for professional municipal wastewater pumping stations and industrial installations (e.g. agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solid-matter grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet such as DUTY 50 and B4.
GT macerator pump control
For controlling GT pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets in a simple relay-and-contactor configuration or a more advanced processor-based version.
FEATURES
• Radial-axial macerating system,
• Hardened steel blades ensure effective cutting of contaminants,
• The oil chamber prevents water from directly entering the motor if the seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• The side flanged outlet with an additional thread enables installation on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose with a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, connected to a dedicated control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Special versions for liquid temperatures of up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged can be manufactured to order (not for continuous operation).
