The G2 series (GM-GT with two-pole motors) features a grinding system with suction that enables the maceration of solids. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, liquids containing solids, and anywhere high pressure is required.
Features
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and cutter are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (motor side in the oil chamber, impeller side in contact with the liquid), along with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why choose a professional GT grinder?
The vacuum knife-cutting system in G2 pumps combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet so that solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater can be cut, torn, and ground as thoroughly as possible. It can handle pieces of cloth, string, and soaked straw. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily using hex socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GT grinder pump installations
GT pumps are intended for professional sewage networks and wastewater pumping stations, as well as industrial installations (e.g., agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solids-grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet, such as DUTY 50 and B4.
GT grinder pump control
For controlling GT pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets in a simple relay-and-contactor configuration or a more advanced processor-based version.
FEATURES
• Radial-axial grinding system,
• Hardened steel blades ensure effective cutting of contaminants,
• The oil chamber prevents water from directly entering the motor if the seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• The side flanged outlet with an additional thread enables installation on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, connected to a dedicated control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable with free terminals,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Upon request, special versions can be manufactured for liquid temperatures up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged (not for continuous operation).
