The G2 series (GM-GT bipolar) features a grinding system with suction that enables the grinding of solid materials. These pumps are used wherever liquid must be pumped through relatively small-diameter pipes, often already installed. Applications: domestic wastewater, liquids containing solids, and anywhere high pressure is required.
Characteristics
All major components are made of GG25 cast iron. The disc and grinder are made of hardened steel. Two separate mechanical seals (the motor side in the oil chamber and the impeller side in contact with the liquid), along with high-quality components, ensure excellent performance and product reliability.
Why choose a professional GM grinder?
The vacuum knife-cutting system made of hardened steel in G2 pumps combines the effectiveness of radial and axial cutting. The truncated-cylinder-shaped cutter rotates between a specially designed inlet, cutting, tearing, and grinding the solids contained in municipal and industrial wastewater as thoroughly as possible. Rags, strings, and soaked straw are no problem for it. In addition, the blade can be serviced quickly and easily thanks to hex socket screws, which is a major advantage during pumping-station downtime.
GM grinder pump installations
GM pumps are intended for professional networked wastewater pumping stations and industrial installations (e.g., agriculture, slaughterhouses, etc.). Pumps with an axial-radial solid-grinding system can be successfully installed on coupling feet, such as DUTY 50 and B4.
GM grinder pump control
For controlling GM pumps, we recommend professional power and control cabinets in a simple relay-and-contactor version or a more advanced processor-controlled version.
FEATURES
• Radial-axial grinding system,
• Hardened steel blades ensure effective cutting of contaminants,
• The oil chamber prevents water from entering the motor directly if the seal behind the impeller is damaged,
• The side flanged outlet with an additional thread enables installation on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection for a flexible hose using a clamp or quick coupling,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, connected to a special control panel,
• 10 m H07RNF power cable terminated with a starting box,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
Upon request, special versions can be manufactured for liquid temperatures of up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged (not for continuous operation).
