Description
PC-24 – automatic pump controller
The automatic IBO PC-24 pump controller independently controls the operation of the pump in the water installation - it starts it when water is drawn in and stops it when the flow stops. The built-in pressure sensor and clear display allow you to precisely set the switching conditions, and the dry-running protection protects the pump against running without water. This is an easy-to-use solution for maintaining constant pressure in your home water network.
For whom
- Owners of single-family houses – constant water pressure in taps without manually turning on the pump; after the water disappears, the controller resumes operation automatically.
- Installers and plumbers – vertical or horizontal installation and adjustable pressure thresholds simplify the selection of automation for a specific pump.
- Users of wells and tanks – dry-running protection protects the pump when drawing water from intakes with variable capacity.
- Allotment gardeners and gardeners – automatic activation of the pump when the sprinklers are opened facilitates irrigation without constant supervision.
Application
The PC-24 controller is suitable for home hydrophore installations and pressure maintenance systems in which water is drawn from a water supply, a deep well or a tank. It reacts to each opening of the draw-off point - a tap, shower or sprinkler - by turning on the pump, and after closing the draw-off point, it automatically turns it off.
The device only works with clean water without mechanical impurities, so it is suitable for domestic and garden installations. In a typical single-family system, the automatic PC-24 230 V pump controller takes over the operation of the pump, starting it when the tap is turned on and stopping it when the water flow is closed.
Features of PC-24
PC-24 is an electronic automaton controlling one single-phase pump, equipped with a built-in pressure sensor and a display presenting the pressure in the installation on an ongoing basis. It works in two modes: in mode 1, only the pump's switch-on pressure is set, while mode 2 allows you to determine both the switch-on and switch-off pressure - this variant requires cooperation with a pressure tank.
The design is complemented by an extensive set of protections: protection against dry running with automatic restart after water returns, protection against too high pressure and against continuous pump start-up. Every 24 hours, the device performs a short, ten-second activation, which prevents the pump from blocking during longer breaks in use. Installation is possible in vertical and horizontal positions, in accordance with the flow direction arrows on the connections.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – automatic pump controller PC-24
What is the PC-24 driver and how does it work?
PC-24 is an electronic automatic device that turns on the pump when the pressure drops and water flow occurs, and turns it off when the intake is closed. Thanks to this, the pump only works when water is actually needed and the installation maintains constant pressure. The built-in display constantly shows the network pressure.
What is the difference between mode 1 and mode 2 in PC-24?
In mode 1, only the pump activation pressure is set - this is a simple variant for basic operation of the machine. Mode 2 also allows you to define the shut-off pressure, but requires connecting a pressure tank that limits the frequency of pump starts.
Does PC-24 protect the pump against dry running?
Yes, PC-24 has dry-running protection - in the event of a lack of water, it disconnects the pump before it is damaged. After the water reappears, the machine automatically resumes operation. Additionally, it protects the installation against too high pressure and against too frequent pump starts.
Does the PC-24 require a pressure tank?
In mode 1, the controller can operate without a tank, reacting directly to water consumption. Mode 2, in which the cut-out pressure is set, however, requires a pressure tank to limit the number of pump starts. The selection of the tank capacity depends on the installation efficiency.
What pump can be connected to PC-24?
PC-24 works with one single-phase pump with a power of up to 2.2 kW, designed for pumping clean water. For the controller to operate properly, the pump should generate a pressure at least 1 bar higher than the set switch-on pressure. A non-return valve should not be installed between the pump and the controller.
Where can I buy the PC-24 controller?
As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly. The IBO PC-24 automatic pump controller can be purchased from our trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors. Full technical data and documentation make it easier to select a device for a specific pump.
What is the warranty for the PC-24 controller?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat. If you have any questions regarding installation or configuration, please contact your authorized distributor.
