Applications
The DRAIN 400 / DRAIN 750 submersible pump is designed for pumping clean and lightly contaminated water free of abrasive particles such as sand. The pump is used to drain flooded rooms, swimming pools, and sumps.
It can also pump water from ponds, rivers, tanks, and shallow ring wells. The DRAIN 400 / DRAIN 750 230 V submersible pump operates in a vertical position, with the maximum temperature of the pumped liquid up to 35°C.
Features of the DRAIN 400 / DRAIN 750 pump
The pump has a technopolymer housing, which ensures a low device weight. The shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, the impeller is made of PPO polymer, and the mechanical seal operates in a SiC/graphite configuration.
The switch is built into the pump body in the form of a slider, making the pump suitable for operation in narrow sumps and tanks where a traditional ball float would not have enough space to move freely. The pump offers two operating modes – automatic, in which the slider sets the activation level, and manual, in which the device operates until it is switched off manually. Thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overheating.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – DRAIN 400 / DRAIN 750 submersible pump
What type of water is the DRAIN pump designed for?
The pump is designed for clean and lightly contaminated water free of abrasive particles such as sand. The permissible particle size is 35 mm.
How narrow can the sump be for the DRAIN pump?
The switch built into the pump body in the form of a slider allows operation in narrower sumps and tanks than pumps with a traditional ball float, which requires more space to move freely.
What is the difference between automatic and manual mode in the DRAIN pump?
In automatic mode, the pump starts when the water level reaches the height set with the slider and switches off when the level drops to approximately 11 cm. In manual mode, the pump operates continuously, and the user must switch it off manually when the water level reaches approximately 5 cm from the pump base.
Which model is better for my needs, DRAIN 400 or DRAIN 750?
The choice depends on the required delivery head and capacity – DRAIN 400 achieves a delivery head of up to 5 m, while DRAIN 750 reaches up to 8 m with higher capacity. If you have any doubts, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
