Description
Quick reply
DOMATIK is an intelligent, compact water pump with a built-in inverter, designed to supply home installations with clean water from wells and to increase pressure from the water supply network. Thanks to smooth regulation of engine speed, it ensures constant pressure, quiet operation, protection against dry running and overload, and lower energy consumption than classic hydrophore sets.
For whom
- Owners of single-family houses with their own well who need stable water pressure throughout the installation and effective protection against dry running of the DOMATIK pump.
- Users of service premises who care about quiet operation of water devices, without annoying noise and vibrations.
- Installers and service technicians looking for a pump with simple configuration - started and set from the panel using a few buttons.
- People modernizing old pressure booster sets who want to reduce energy consumption and gain soft starts and pressure stabilization.
- Users requiring extensive pump protection (dry running, overheating, too low/high pressure, voltage fluctuations) when working in water installations.
Application
- Power supply home water installations into clean water from their own intakes (drilled and ring wells) using the DOMATIK pump to transport liquids with properties similar to water.
- Raising the pressure from the water supply network, maintaining the suction pressure below 2.5 bar and using a non-return valve and a possible pressure reducer.
- Work inside buildings, in dry, ventilated rooms, away from heat sources, corrosive substances, explosive gases and flammable materials.
- Constant supply of several draw-off points with water, with automatic switching on of the pump when the pressure drops and stopping it after the end of consumption.
DOMATIK - an intelligent water pump with an inverter for houses and wells that ensures constant pressure and energy-saving operation of the entire water installation.
Features, description and technical data
Construction and principle of operation
DOMATIK is an electric water pump with a hydraulic part (body, impeller, shaft, seal) and an integrated frequency converter and a permanent magnet motor controlled using SPWM technology. The pressure sensor on the pipeline enables continuous measurement and maintenance of the set pressure value by adjusting the pump speed.
The device is intended for pumping clean water and liquids with similar properties, without abrasive or fibrous particles and without flammable, explosive, oily or too dense substances.
The most important advantages
- Smooth regulation of engine speed limiting hydraulic shocks and sudden pressure changes in the installation.
- High energy efficiency and lower energy consumption than traditional hydrophore sets.
- Low noise level - typically 25-40 dB, with full power below 45 dB, ensuring high acoustic comfort.
- Automatic start when water is drawn in and automatic stop when finished, without user intervention.
- Stabilization of network pressure - when the pressure is sufficient, the pump does not work, it starts only when the pressure drops.
- Compact design and low weight (approx. 10 kg), easy to carry and assemble by one person.
- Automatic short start program every 24 hours, which prevents seizing and corrosion of hydraulic parts of the pump when not in use.
- Clear control panel with display of error codes and operating parameters (pressure, speed, power).
Integrated protection system
The DOMATIK pump has a built-in security system that protects both the device and the water installation.
- Protection against too low and too high pressure (OTP, LTP codes) using a pressure sensor.
- Motor overload and overcurrent protection (OD, OC), with the possibility of diagnosing a possible blocked rotor.
- Undervoltage and overvoltage protection: signaling at voltages below approx. 160 V (uLU) and above approx. 270 V (oLU).
- Dry-running protection, with adjustable pressure threshold and water shortage detection time using parameters F012 and F013.
- Protection against pump overheating and too high water temperature (OH, E18, F020 threshold setting).
- Power and communication error control: phase loss, module communication error, software overload, motor stop or overspeed (LP, EL, E10, E13, E15, E16).
The detailed protection behavior and pump response can be adjusted in the F011–F018 parameter menu, including: setting the differential pressure for restart, pressure rise time and allowable pressure fluctuations.
Control panel and operating modes
The control panel allows you to operate the DOMATIK pump in automatic and manual mode, with an intuitive arrangement of buttons and indicators.
- RUN / START / STOP – a short press starts the inverter, another short press stops the operation.
- BACK – switching the display mode between speed (rpm), power (kW) and pressure (bar).
- UP / DOWN – in automatic mode, changing the set pressure value, in manual mode, adjusting the rotational speed.
- UP + DOWN combination (3 s) – entry to the P‑XX parameter menu and the ability to configure F001–F028 settings.
Additional diodes indicate the operating status of the inverter, automatic/manual mode, water shortage and errors, and the display shows the current values of key parameters of the DOMATIK pump.

- pH range of pumped water: 6.5–8.5.
- Ambient temperature: 0-50°C.
- Maximum sound level: 45 dB.C
Working conditions and installation
The DOMATIK pump should be installed on a stable, preferably metal surface, in a horizontal position, in a dry and well-ventilated room, free from moisture, UV radiation, rain, snow and the risk of frost. The ambient humidity should not exceed approximately 85% and the temperature should be in the range of 0-40°C.
In the hydraulic installation you should:
- Use pipelines with diameters corresponding to the pump stubs, avoid unnecessary reductions and an excessive number of elbows.
- Use at least a 1" pipe for suction, and for longer lengths (above 10 m) or suction height (above 4 m) increase the diameter of the suction pipe.
- Maintain a constant slope of the suction pipe towards the intake to avoid creating siphons that make it difficult to flood the system with water.
- In drilled wells, install a non-return valve above the filter, and in circular wells, use a hose with a suction basket and a non-return valve, suspended 30 cm above the bottom and below the minimum water level.
- Ensure complete tightness of all connections to avoid air intake, loss of performance and dry running.
The electrical installation should be performed by a suitably qualified person, maintaining earthing, using a residual current device up to 30 mA and motor overcurrent protection set in accordance with the nameplate.
Operation, maintenance and warranty
- Before the first start-up and after a long break, completely fill the pump and the suction pipeline with water to prevent dry running.
- During operation, do not pump media with abrasive, fibrous or high suspended particles in order not to accelerate the wear of the impeller and seals.
- The pump does not require special, cyclical maintenance, but it is recommended to periodically check its technical condition, tightness and listen for any disturbing sounds from the engine.
- All repairs and maintenance work should only be performed by an authorized electrician or authorized service center; DIY modifications result in loss of warranty.
- In winter, protect the pump against frost or drain the water completely; Frost damage is not subject to warranty repair.
The warranty for IBO devices, including the DOMATIK pump, is 24 months, provided that you have the original proof of purchase and follow the instructions in the user manual.
The device has an EU/EC declaration of conformity (Module A), confirming compliance with directives MD 2011/65/EU, LVD 2014/35/EU, EMC 2014/30/EU and relevant standards, including: EN 55014, EN 60335 and EN 809.
